Plans Approved for Kings Langley Redevelopment

Work to transform the former West Herts College campus in Kings Langley into a new residential community is set to start after detailed plans for the site were approved.

Bellway North London is set to build 65 new one and two-bedroom apartments at the development, to be known as Millworks, on the one-acre site off Home Park Mill Link Road.

The development will include a five-storey apartment building with mill-style gables and roofline, as well as landscaped open space next to the Mill Stream to the east of the site.

The detailed plans were approved on appeal on Monday 28 February. Three Rivers District Council had previously granted outline permission for the scheme.

This is not the first collaboration between West Herts College and Bellway, as the developer is building new homes at The Foundry, on the former Dacorum campus in Hemel Hempstead, which forms the first part of the college’s relocation and transformation scheme.
